I uninstalled it using CleanMyMac rather than the Teamviewer uninstaller. Then reinstalled, it now works. Not quite as quick, and the screen outpout is kind of badly aliased. It also take a while for the remote screen to come up, but hey its working!! No real tests yet, will post results.
